Since having my little boy Squidly almost two years ago, I have realised how very different it is to go out for something to eat and drink. Living in Kent, I assumed that we’d be surrounded by lots of family friend pubs, restaurants and cafes with open spaces for kids to run around while the adults could kick back for a little R&R, but have found that isn’t necesarly the case. It’s a rare thing to find somewhere that has not only the facilities, space and patience for a toddler but also one that also serves good quality food and nice vino or G&T to boot (because lets face it, after a night of teething, a swift one’s the only thing that’s going to keep you sane!).
So, welcome to my new page – where I’ll be reviewing the places that I’ve discovered along the way that I feel are child/family friendly. I have tried to provide listings of the things that I feel are of use but please feel free to ask any further questions, or if you have a suggestion for other things that would be good for me to include in the reviews just leave a comment below.
