The Cooking Shed, cookery school…

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, a few years in fact! The reason is that just over 5 years ago I set up and opened my own cookery school. It’s in this lovely little wooden lodge at the end of my garden in West Wickham Kent, and I called it ‘The Cooking Shed‘.

I wanted to open a cookery school where people didn’t feel intimidated or overwhelmed with industry type cookers/kit, but instead provide a space that felt like a home kitchen with everyone working around one big table together, producing deliciously simple food. So far we’ve had over 2,000 customers, ran supper nights and private dining, and even over lockdown were delivering pizza kits to keep families entertained and fed.

The past year has been extremely hard, as with all food and hospitality businesses, but we’re still going strong, and our after school children’s cooking clubs, plus adult classes have returned. November should see the come-back of our adult and child group cooking sessions, with lots of fabulous Christmas themed treats to make.

If you’d like to check out The Cooking Shed, then take a hop over to the website – my recipes are also shared there under the ‘inspiration’ tab.

Thanks for visiting, and let me know what you think of the shed 🙂

Stay well all, Regan x
