Port & Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:

400g fresh cranberries 

1 cinnamon stick

150g white caster sugar

100ml port

100 ml water

1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

– makes 2 jam jars full –

 

Instructions:

1. Put everything into a pan and bring to the boil. Simmer uncovered for ten minutes.

2. Remove the cinnamon stick, and pour into some warmed, clean jam jars.

Enjoy!
